Saturday, 3/7/26, Smith Point Sea Rescue hosted its 30th Annual Oyster Roast at Cowart Seafood in Lottsburg, VA, and by the looks on guests’ faces, they had a wonderful time and enjoyed themselves immensely. SPSR would like to thank Mr. Lake Cowart and the gentlemen of Cowart’s Seafood for hosting us and providing the excellent Patuxent River oysters. SPSR would also like to thank our many patrons who continue to support SPSR and make our services possible. Finally, SPSR would like to thank the ladies of SPSR, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes in the kitchen and at the stations. Without their continued help, it couldn’t have happened!
Boating season is about to start, and SPSR reminds all to be safe and remember, Smith Point Sea Rescue is….”there when needed.”
