Capsized vessel, Little Wicomico – Aug 2, 2025

0812 Saturday 8-2-25 SPSR gets a call from Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office, “Little Wicomico River, boat with white stripe and blue capsized, no one seen around the area.” Rescue I with crew of fours responds and quickly locates the boat. Alert SPSR Duty Captain recognizes the boat name and calls a local waterman who states his is aware of the ‘problem, crew encountered a rogue wave on the way to work”. He has a salvage crew enroute. SPSR Stands by to assist.
