2240 (10:40PM) Saturday 3/16/24….. SPSR gets call from Northumberland County Sheriff that small boat is disabled near Sandy Point in the Potomac River. RESCUE II with crew is dispatched from Olverson’s Lodge Creek Marina. Using FLIR low light infrared RESCUE II locates 20′ center console with four onboard out of gas at Yeocimico River marker. After passing gasoline and helping get engine started, SPSR escorts CC home to base. SC Total time 3+30. SPSR….”there when needed.”
